God is your strength…

God is your strength :-
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire.

Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Judges 6:15 And Gedion said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. 6:16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

When God visited Gedion to give him an assignment to go and lead his people to war. Gedion thought he was not worthy of that task. He belittled himself thinking he was just a nobody.

Many people are like that in this generation. They look down upon themselves because of their background, financial status or even their skin colour. I want you to change that mindset now that you are in Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Don’t look down upon yourself. You are not a nobody. The fact that you failed your school exams or you come from a poor village doesn’t determine who you are…

You are who God says you are, not what the world calls you. Discover your real identity from the word of God.

Zechariah 10:12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

Christ lives in you. He died for you on the cross. You are not cheap. You are not a nobody. You are from above. You are made in the image and likeness of God.

See yourself from the eyes of God and you will respond to circumstances differently.

Gedion who thought was a nobody managed to win many battles he fought and he became a real man of valour.

You too can be anything in this world. Christ lives in you and he is your ability.

Meditate on:-

Psalms 18:29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. 18:30…: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. 18:33 He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

Shalom….

How do you respond to circumstances
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. – Psalms 145:18,19

We face different challenges everyday and how we respond to them determines the results.

Hezekiah was at a point of death , then a prophet came to him to confirm that indeed Hezekiah was going to die. Hezekiah didn’t waste his time crying or trying to negotiate with the prophet to pray for him, but he turned to the wall and prayed unto God.

In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. – Psalms 86:7

Your response to circumstances determines where you will be tomorrow. Be wise let the word of God guide you on how to face contrary situations.

Hezekiah ran to God when death was knocking on his door. I urge you today… Be guided by the word when everything around doesn’t make sense.

The best response for every situation is found in the word of God.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. – Psalms 46:1-3

Shalom

Storms will always rise in life but don’t give up…
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire

Psalms 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

The life of a Christian isn’t a walk in the park as many think… Troubles and tribulations are found along the way. Battles will come from every direction just to weaken you and make you lose your faith in God.

2 Corinthians 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Brothers and sisters through it all we have been made more than conqourers by Jesus Christ who is always by our side. Job faced many battles in his life , he lost everything ,his riches and children but he kept on holding on to God.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

We will face battles in our lives but with God on our side we will never be defeated.

Isaiah 59:19… When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

The devil will fight us with anything but as Christians don’t give up.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

My last words for you today; through it all learn to keep your faith in God. No matter how serious the battles you are facing maybe ,never give up. Never negotiate with the devil.

God on your side is enough to take you through any storm in life.

Shalom

Special Message From Our Archives…
Invest more time in God- by-
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire.

Psalms 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

A day has 24hours , how much time are you dedicating to God daily ?How much time are you setting aside for prayer and studying of His word?
In our opening scripture David is saying that he seeks diligently for the Lord early in the morning , meaning he invested more time in prayer and meditation before he does his daily business. Examine your life , how much time are you dedicating to God?

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

Don’t be tired in prayer saints. , we don’t fight against flesh and blood but against principalities , against powers , against the rulers of the darkness of this world , against spiritual wickedness in high places ( Eph 6:12). Many are failing in everything because of their low prayer life. Life is spiritual , learn to face it spiritually first before you live it physically. The moment you conquer first in the spiritual , you will never be defeated in the physical , don’t try to do it the opposite. That’s why a small boy David defeated a great giant Goliath . Never face life physically you will be limited.

A day has 24 hours, how much time are you spending on social networks and compare it to the time you are spending with God.Just ask yourself ,what kind of life do you want to live in this world? A life of victory and conquering everyday is not found on WhatsApp or Facebook my dear , invest in God , if you want the best in life.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

There is a greater life God has destined for you ( Jeremiah 29:11), delight in His word , meditate on it day and night and you would be like a tree planted by rivers of water that yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither and you will prosper in all that you do (Psalms 1:2-3).

Meditate on Jeremiah 29:11 , Luke 18:1 , 1Thess 5:17.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Invest more time in God and you will live a life of victory everyday.

Shalom…

Abide in the presence of God…

Destined To Change Your Life:-Daily Devotional

Abide in the presence of God :-
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire.

The Message Bible :Psalms 7:1-2 God! God! I am running to you for dear life; the chase is wild. If they catch me, I’m finished: ripped to shreds by foes fierce as lions, dragged into the forest and left unlooked for, unremembered.

The Message Bible :Psalms 23:4 Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure.

The safest place to stay when you are in this world is in the presence of God. Nomatter how intelligent or wise you are ,don’t walk out of God’s presence , you will be doomed.

Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

David had a better revelation about abiding in God. That’s why after he sinned, he cried to God “Lord , cast me not away from your presence …”

As a Christian abide in God always and you will shine in all seasons.Nothing will by any means hurt you or bring you down , if God is your refuge…

Try by all means to live in God’s presence always…

Psalms 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

*Read Psalms 91 the whole chapter…*

Expect from God, not from people…

Destined To Change Your Life:-Daily Devotional

20 March 2019
Expect from God, not from people:
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not…

Your destiny as Christian is determined by God not by your parents or by the people around you. It’s not even determined by your government or your skin colour.

Lamentations 3:25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 3:26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

We have people who have been disappointed by their parents or the people around them after they failed to fulfill what they had promised. People have limitations, never base your trust on them. They can change any time.

Psalms 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

There is a man in the bible who was at the pool of Bethsaida, he was impotent for 38 years and only needed someone to help him reach the pool first the moment the angel will stir up the waters. But no one was there for him. Does that mean he didn’t have relatives or friends who could have assisted him ? Don’t expect much from people rather base your full trust and faith on God. The man at the pool of Bethsaida was later helped by Jesus Christ himself. Where were his relatives or friends?

John 5:2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 5:3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 5:4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

John 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

It’s a shame , his own relatives abandoned him at the pool. It`s still happening even now. Many people lost many great opportunities in their lives because of the people around them who later opted to walk away from them at the time they needed their help most.

Psalms 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Learn from events in the bible. Trust in God in all you do and He will never let you down. Count on Him always . He is faithful. Expect from Him and you will not be frustrated in life.

Psalms 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Shalom…

Stay in the word…

Destined To Change Your Life:-Daily Devotional

Stay in the Word:-
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire

The Message Bible :Genesis 3:23-24 So God expelled them from the Garden of Eden and sent them to work the ground, the same dirt out of which they’d been made. He threw them out of the garden and stationed angel-cherubim and a revolving sword of fire east of it, guarding the path to the Tree-of-Life.

When God created Adam and Eve. He gave them everything they needed in the garden of Eden and their only instruction was not to eat the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden.
Amplified Bible Genesis 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

But Adam and Eve messed up, they ate the fruit and they lost everything. How many times in life are we trading the best life God has destined for us for worldly pleasures.

Adam had everything but he was left with nothing.
God desires the best for you, but you have to live by His word to see His glory in your life. Amplified Bible Acts 20:32 And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

Amplified Bible Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Stick to the word and you will shine in all you do. No situation would be too big for you. Just imagine the story of Adam if He had abided by the word, this world could have been paradise for everyone.

The life of your dreams is possible just let God be the Lord of your life. Abide in Him. Walk in His presence always and you will enjoy the best of the land.

Amplified Bible Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

Stay in the word and you will shine always.

Shalom…

Christ in you…

Destined To Change Your Life:-Daily Devotional

17 March 2019

Christ in you, is your hope of glory :-

Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire

Amplified Bible: Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Lazarus was dead and buried for four days and everyone thought that was the end of his story. But things changed the moment Jesus Christ got to the scene. I guess you all know how the story ended.

Amplified Bible: John 11:17,39-40,43-44 So when Jesus arrived, He found that he [Lazarus] had already been in the tomb four days. Jesus said, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man, exclaimed, But Lord, by this time he [is decaying and] throws off an offensive odor, for he has been dead four days! Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?

Amplified Bible: John 11:43-44 …He shouted with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out! And out walked the man who had been dead, his hands and feet wrapped in burial cloths (linen strips), and with a [burial] napkin bound around his face. Jesus said to them, Free him of the burial wrappings and let him go.

A closed book of Lazarus’ life was reopened by the presence of Jesus Christ.

There is no hopeless situation for a Christian. Our story is different from that of Lazarus. We are not waiting for Jesus Christ to show up because we already have Him dwelling in us. Christ is in you 24/7 … Do you know what that means?

It’s now possible to live a life of victory everyday. It’s now possible to win all the battles you may encounter because you are not alone.

Amplified Bible: Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

I urge you people of God, lets take advantage of the presence of Jesus Christ in our lives to dominate in all we do. You can never live a low life with Him guiding you daily.

That life of your dreams is now possible. Remember Jesus once walked on water; expect the unexpected in your life.

1 Corinthians 2:9 …”What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, is what God has prepared for those who love Him”

All you have to do now is live by His Word. Let Him be the captain of your life and you will never perish nomatter the kind of storms which may come against your boat of life. You will overcome always…

Amplified Bible: Colossians 1:26-27 The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints), To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of glory.

Shalom…

You can’t win without God:-
Royalpriest Fortunes Priestoffire

Amplified Bible: Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

Goliath was a well trained warrior who caused terror in the camp of the Israelites. King Saul and his soldiers were reduced to nothing every time Goliath challenged them for a fight. For forty days he verbally attacked the Israelites and nobody dared to raise even a finger against him until the day the young shepherd boy David showed up.

Amplified Bible :1 Samuel 17:10-11 And the Philistine said, I defy the ranks of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together. When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.

David challenged the giant Goliath. David was just a small boy but had God on his side, I guess you all know how the story ended. A well trained man with a lot of experience in the battlefield was killed by a young boy who didn’t even have any experience [It was David’s first fight]. Goliath with all his great physique was defeated because he didn’t have God on his side.

1 Samuel 17:45-47 Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel, Whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will smite you and cut off your head… for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.

Amplified Bible :1 Samuel 17:50-51 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and struck down the Philistine and slew him. When the Philistines saw that their mighty champion was dead, they fled.

Life without God on your side will never be easy. Learn from the story of Goliath. Have God on your side if you want to win the battles of life. I urge you this day; never face your life alone. Engage God into your daily affairs and no mountain would be too high for you to climb.

That life of your dreams is very possible, make the right choice today . Walk with God every second of your life and you will see the glory of God in all you will do..

You can’t be defeated with God backing you.

Shalom…
